In less than two weeks, 2017 would completely gone into tin air and the year must not be allowed wrapped out without paying tributes to outstanding brains behind laughable drama and story telling scenes in the movie industry.

Come to think of it, the year 2017 has had exciting moments and kudos must go personalities who made smiles of many of millions of Nigerians through their God-given talents, turning stories to scenes, and those brave hearts considered for recognition among others are:

Niyi Akinmolayan, directed the sequel to the internationally acclaimed movie ‘The wedding party 2- Destination Dubai’.

The first part of the movie was directed by Kemi Adetiba , and was a success at the cinema grossing over 453, 050, 000.

The newest in cinema, second party  of film, directed by Akinmolayan, is currently highest grossing movie in Nigeria.

Besides, the man has directed successful movies including, Falling, The Arbitration, Make A Move, Out of Luck among others.

His selection among many other director to direct Nigeria biggest movie ‘The Wedding Party 2- Destination Dubai, made him one of the top directors for 2017.

Another brain when comes to movie packaging is Akin Omotoso, who is a film director that really knows his onions when it comes to directing.

It is believed that this young director will go places with his directing skills. His latest work ‘A Hotel Called Memory’ set him apart among his peer.

Talk about Asurf Oluseyi, the young man is another director that makes the best of 2017 enjoyable for movie lover.

With his skillful and creative idea, he makes the feature film ‘Hakkunde’ a comedy and drama produced by Frank Donga, came alive, making it interesting and enjoyable for movie lovers.
