As the acrimony trailing All Progressives Congress (APC) intensified, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has said that the election of Adams Oshiomhole as the party chairman has brought no good that losses.
Okorocha stressed that the losses will continue and could cost it more havoc, saying, already, APC has lost 10 million members since he assumed office.
The governor’s outburst came barely 24 hours after Oshiomhole lambasted him and his Ogun State counterpart, Ibikunle Amosun, for acting against the party’s choice on candidates for 2019 election and were political liabilities with only one vote each.
Okorocha, who spoke through his commissioner for information, Patrick Nzeh, said: “Oshiomhole is a victim of his own actions, and that as a political liability, he was on a mission to destroy the ruling party which was handed over to him.”
He boasted that his son in-law Uche Nwosu who is now the Action Alliance (AA) governorship candidate would defeat the APC governorship candidate in Imo state.
