source url Speaking before court on Wenesday, the Prosecutor, sergeant Sunday Osanyintuyi, alleged that the accused assaulted the two marshals by slapping them while performing their lawful duties and attempted to kidnap the duo.
Osantuyi also told the court that the accused had obstructed a police officer earlier, Tajudeen Agbaje, attached to “A” Division in Ile-Ife by forcing him into his car while performing his lawful duty.
The magistrate Olalekan Ijiyode, rejected the oral bail application and ordered the defence counsel to produce a written application.
Ijiyode who adjourned the case till December 22 for hearing of the bail application, ordered the accused to be remanded at Ile-Ife prison pending the consideration of his bail application.
